Da Capo Featured On GQ Cover

Nicodemus Mogashore, formerly known as Da Capo, has garnered critical acclaim for his unique blend of African elements combined with electronic beats, and captivating dance floors, from Seshego to Ibiza.

His musical talents have taken him so far to the point where he has secured a spot on the cover of the GQ Magazine South Africa.

‘My aspirations extended far beyond Seshego long before I entered the music industry.’ said the DJ to GQ. Flashback to boyhood Da Capo, and you would find the self-taught DJ and producer drumming on school desks and entertaining his peers as soon as the teacher stepped out of the classroom.

A natural-born entertainer, Da Capo’s musical journey started in his late teens when he began exploring various sounds and styles, drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical genres.

‘I was really into hip-hop and R&B when I first started making music,’ he says. ‘But then I discovered house music, and I was hooked. I loved the energy of it.’ Although many people are familiar with his music, they are not familiar with his face.
